We’re excited that you’re interested in volunteering with Cope Family Center. Volunteers help carry out our mission to empower parents, nurture children and strengthen communities. You will be contributing to the community in a meaningful and impactful way.
Our work would not be possible without the generous contributions of time, energy and talents of our dedicated volunteers. We invite you to join our growing team of volunteers to help us serve even more families this year.
To learn more, submit a volunteer interest form. Once your submission is received, we will contact you promptly to let you know about current opportunities. We welcome student volunteers seeking community service or internship hours.
Current Volunteer Opportunities
Work with and learn directly from Cope’s Parent Educators who provide support and guidance to parents going through challenging times. The Parent Education Intern supports the Parent Education program with various tasks and responsibilities. They also gain knowledge and insight into direct service work with parents and families by shadowing other programs.
Learn about direct-service work by supporting programs that work directly with families and their children. The Programs Intern supports both Cope’s Home Visiting and Family Resource Center programs with various tasks and responsibilities. They also gain knowledge and insight into direct service work with parents and families by shadowing the programs.
Be part of a pool of volunteers who assist with Cope's outreach efforts. Volunteer at fairs to table at the Cope booth, support community presentations, and more! Training is provided so Outreach Squad can follow all current messaging and best practices.
Help us provide resources and communications in Spanish to our clients, supporters and followers! Translate flyers, reports, social media posts and more to help us reach a wider audience and make sure our communications are equitable.
Help us digitize our historical files as an Archiver! By scanning, saving, naming and organizing files digitally you’ll be helping lift the burden of our hardcopy files, creating more space for program supplies and ensuring that information is stored securely in our digital archives.
